Kristine has had a love of strength training since being introduced to the weight room in high school. However, her passion for fitness and nutrition really developed after the birth of her second daughter 11 years ago. After many years of studying ways to develop and maximize the benefits of her own workouts, Kristine committed to doing the same for others by becoming a fitness professional.
A unique combination of group fitness and personal training certifications led Kristine to High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in a small group format. For nearly five years, Kristine has been coaching teams through 30 minute HIIT workouts and has been amazed and inspired by the progression she’s seen in the fitness level of the team members. She’s equally blown away by the strong bonds that they’ve all developed, which not only helps their motivation and commitment but makes for a really fun workout. Kristine maintains a strong focus on mastering form before increasing intensity and therefore will coach to each individuals fitness level. All are welcome in Kristine's workouts, from elite athletes to beginners. She really enjoys challenging people to step outside of their comfort zone and loves the look on participants’ faces when they realize what they are able to accomplish.
Although not a “runner”, Kristine laces up her sneakers each year to run the Falmouth road race with BeatNB, a non-profit organization that funds research and clinical trials for neuroblastoma. Kristine’s dedication to supporting and raising funds for BeatNB runs deep and far outweighs the discomfort of running the Falmouth hills in the hot, humid August conditions.
