who are we?

Our 3,500 square foot "box" is located inside of Fit Factory. CrossFit Factory Wood Road and Fit Factory are one - CrossFit members can enjoy all of the ammeneties we have to offer. Together we strive to provide all our members different ways to get in shape and stay in shape. We truly believe CrossFit is for EVERYONE. Beginners and competitor level athletes share the same coaches, barbells, and each others support. Our essential purpose is to increase an indidvual's fitness level and help them achieve their goals.

What is CrossFit?

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning system built on constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity. These movements include a combination of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics and weightlifting.

CrossFit is a program for all abilities and experience levels, designed for universal scalability, which makes it the perfect application for any individual committed to achieving their own personal version of excellence in fitness. The same routines are used for everyone; the load and intensity of the program is scaled for the individual, but the workout remains the same for all.

The mindset at the start of each workout is to be stronger, move faster, more efficiently, with better form than ever. Performance and results are measurable, observable and repeatable. This is why, over time, athletes continue to improve their levels of fitness.

CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. The communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it's so effective.

What is WOD?

WOD stands for Work out of the Day.

Here at CFFWR, we develop our own WOD programming that promotes a well-balanced mix of metabolic conditioning, skill development and strength conditioning. We typically post the WOD on our website the night before, including advanced-level (RX'd or As Prescribed) weights, reps and rounds for men and women. The coaches show athletes how to scale the WOD if necessary during class according to varying fitness and proficiency levels.
